Damchiya, or dowry chests (often indicated by wheeled feet), were used to store and deliver fine linens and other valuables were given to a groom’s family as part of the marriage contract.
Origin: Rajasthan, India
The chest is not perfect but can see lots of wear one hinge on the top is broken
hence the price of this great and unusual piece.

This piece can only be viewed by Appointment.
